Sure, the holidays are nice but truffle season is our favorite time of year.
This season some of Los Angeles’ hot spots both old and new are serving up some classics as well as thinking outside the truffle box. Truth be told there isn’t much that can’t be improved by some shavings of the divine accoutrements, so make some reservations and try them all.
The new Beverly Hills restaurant from Amici owner Tancredi Deluca is offering a menu of white truffles from Alba alongside a bevy of dishes, including the spot’s beef carpaccio with melted fontina cheese and shaved white truffle ($80), a jumbo asparagus and frisée salad with poached egg ($80), and a classic Risotto Parmigiana or Taglioli with butter sauce ($60/$95).
The iconic LA restaurant is offering their famed Foccacia di Recco with fresh shaved White Truffle for $110. You won’t regret it.
The romantic date spot has an early stock of white truffle which are being added to the restaurant’s classic Acquerello Carnaroli Rice for $76. Treat someone special to this amazing dish.

NoMad Los Angeles and its chef de cuisine Rudy Lopez are celebrating white truffle season with white truffle supplements offered over risotto or tagliatelle. Guests can opt for either four grams of truffle for $45, or eight grams for $80. You know what they say, go big or go home…
